There were lost of flames in Ghost Rider. And this is one of the best episodes – when they both ride as bats out of the hell.
For those who know me personally, they know that I am a HUGE fan of Ghost Rider. I’ve fallen in love with the legend of Ghost Rider since the early 90’s when I found out about the character, and has remained as my #1 superhero ever since (followed closely by The Hulk at #2).
Despite the panning of the first movie, I think it was actually quite okay. It wasn’t excellent though, and Nicholas Cage’s Ghost Rider was being a bit too funny for his own good – GHOST RIDER AIN’T SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY!!! But overall, I think the movie still have lots of elements from the comics, although the Ghost Rider itself was obviously an amalgamation of Johnny Blaze and Dan Ketch’s versions of the Ghost Rider. It was good enough for diehard fans like me who had waited for so long for that movie to come out.
Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider in Columbia Pictures' Ghost Rider (2007)
The Ghost Rider is a human who can transform into a being with a flaming skull gains supernatural powers. The motorcycles he rides can travel faster than conventional motorcycles and can perform seemingly impossible feats such as riding up a vertical surface, across the surface of water and leaping across great distances that normal motorcycles could not match. The Ghost Riders are notoriously hard to injure by any conventional means, as bullets and knives usually pass through them without causing pain. It is possible that they are genuinely immortal; it is said that God created them and only God can destroy them. The Ghost Riders possess superhuman strength, enough to easily pick up a truck and hurl it across a room. It has been stated that Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider can press around 25 tons.Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in GHOST RIDER™ SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. Still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter, Johnny is hiding out in a remote part of Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy and possibly rid himself of his curse forever. His appearance is well done. 'sin-game "flaming head effects" looked pretty awesome in the firstMVC3, so it makes sense that Capcom would rehash the effects and throw GhostRider into UMVC3... why not!? :D Ghost Rider's moveset is well designed and heoffers a unique gameplay style to the game. Finally, his Level 3 super is especially badass... ">:) lol.
